Based on introducing the concept and importance of health technology assessment (HTA), combined with international experience of utilizing HTA to guide policy-making, the paper analyzes current status and existing problems of China HTA, puts forward advices for HTA transferring to policy-making, aiming to facilitate scientific and standardized health policy-making.
