The current situation of informatization assessment status in foreign countries is introduced in the paper. Based on the experts consultation, according to principles of setting up indexes for health informatization assessment, a preliminary index system for assess health informatization system is introduced in the paper including 3 major dimension, 9 secondary indexes, and 30 tertiary indexes. The weight coefficients are clarified to form a informatization assessment system, intending to provide references for corresponding theoretical and practical research in China.
