The paper proposes the opportunities of Hebei Medical Insititue facing along with constructing the provincial level key disciplines of medical informatics included in future plan of Hebei, then discusses development path key disciplines of medical informatics including determining the subject orientation, strengthening the construction of talent team, expanding the research direction and social services, strengthening discipline document resources investment, establishing management security system, and the future development couter measures also mentioned.
