The paper introduces the concept and mode of education model of CDIO and describes the features and current situation of the course of "operating system ". Based on this, the approaches to improve the course are explorated, including strengthening the affects classroom teaching, reasonal arranging course contents, choosing proper textbook, paying attention to the practice,etc.
