Based on Essential Science Indicators (ESI), the paper overviews the bibliometric indicators of clinical medical literatures which are published in China and included in Web of Science from 2002 to 2012, then compares with other countries. It points out that domestic medical journals should learn from foreign outstanding journals, improve the influence and competitiveness.
