Taking Web of Science database as resources, the paper retrieves the ophthalmic research papers collected by SCI- E in China mainland from 2007 to 2013, carries out statistics from the aspects of published year, published journals, cited times, authors, institutes and regions aiming to analyze the development status and tendency of ophthalmology and papers in this area.
