By thoroughly investigation of 5 medical colleges and universities in Guangdong province, the paper analyzes the present situation of information literacy education. Existing problems and solutions are put forward, including paying attention to information literacy education in colleges and universities, establishing management mechanism, improving information literacy of teachers, creating a good environment of campus informatization, enhancing coorperation between medical librarians and professional teachers, etc.
