The paper introduces the concept of linked data. Based on that the major application of linked data in library resources integration is discussed, including realizing the portability of standard words, expanding the outside interface with other resources, exploring more collection resources, expanding service area, realizing semantic interoperability of knowledge organization system, providing open metadata service, etc.
