On the basis of analyzing the current status of medical students′ responsibility, the paper puts forward the model of cultivating their responsibility in medical college and university libraries based on the living library, discusses the concrete implementation process from following aspects: selection and catalog of living books, advanced publicity of living books, living library activity organization, preservation and later popularization of activity materials, etc.
