Taking the well-known biomedical retrieval system at home and abroad as data sources, the paper analyzes and summarizes the retrieval characteristics of the medical institution names, points out the attentions. It then proposes the design steps of first author affiliation institution papers statistics system, so as to provide references for medical institutions counting their papers.
