The paper takes database theory teaching as an example, discusses the plan for cultivating computer capability of medical information management specialized students. Conceive, Design, Implement, Operate (CDIO) education mode is integrated in the database teaching process. The application and practice of this teaching mode is explained from the aspects of theory teaching, experiment teaching, curriculum design and test mode.
