The paper briefly introduces the concept and characteristics of big data, discusses the current problems of professional talents training for medical information management, namely, the professional characteristic is not obvious, the innovation capability is insufficient, the curriculum system needs to be updated, etc. Corresponding countermeasures are put forward, including clarifying the professional training direction and reforming curriculum system, etc.
