The paper points out the problems existed in traditional medical records management, from the aspects of overall process, design and realization, it introduces the technical route to optimize the outpatients service process through electronic medical records system in Sun Yat-sen University Affiliated Cancer Hospital. It is proved that outpatients service efficiency and quality are improved, the space and personnel problems are solved.
