The paper firstly summarizes the research status of health information seeking behavior in foreign countries from following aspects: demographic characteristic, health information literacy, satisfaction ratio of information needs, confidence for health information, broadband facilities and the network information quality. Then it analyzes the inspirations to China from four aspects: investigators, investigation methods, investigation objects and specific diseases.
