The paper investigates 373 clinicians from 6 tertiary 3 hospitals in Shanxi province through anonymous questionnaire and sampling interview, the results show that the awareness and application status of evidence-based medicine(EBM) are different among the clinicians with different titles, the situation has improved with the increase of the title, but there are still deficiencies. Based on the above the approaches to improve the recognition are discussed, namely, popularizing EBM knowledge through multiple channels, cultivating EBM thinking and promoting its clinical practices.
