According to the nature and characteristics of traditional Chinese medicine college and university library, the paper analyzes the necessity and significance of constructing subject characteristic collection. Corresponding countermeasures are put forward, including constructing multi-level traditional Chinese medicine collection resources with local characteristics, strengthening the development and application of ancient books, collecting special subject gray literatures at wide range, so as to provide facillity for information resources co-construction and sharing among colleges and universities.
