The paper analyzes the opportunities and challenges of large data brought to hospital library special service, corresponding countermeasures are put forward, including establishing data management department, constructing large data structure, cultivating high-quality data management talents, carrying out personalized services for different users, providing the latest subject research focus, paying attention to the data and information from readers, improving subject librarian mechanism, constructing new digital library, etc.
