Abstract:To understand the information literacy ability of students in Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, an empirical study is carried out by questionnaire, including information knowledge, information awareness, information capability and information literacy education. The result shows that the students′ information literacy exists shortcomings and the teaching effect is not satisfactory. According to the problems some suggestions are put forward from the following areas: strengthening cooperation with faculties, playing the role of library, improving the medical information retrieval teaching, etc.
