The paper introduces the features of big data and its impact to library consulting services, points out that libraries must utilize big data theory and technology to innovate service channels, including self-service model, personalized and intelligent knowledge push service, diversified resources integration, developing mobile digital library, constructing network based information intelligent combination and so on, actual application cases are also demonstrated.
