Taking CNKI as data source, the articals published by provincial medical intelligence institutions in China are analyzed by several indexes as the number of published articals, citation frequency, different levels of funding and distribution of subjects in 2001-2006 and 2007-2012. The average citation frequency, h index, g index and hg index are calculated, the academic impact of these institutions are evaluated.
