The paper compares the situation of health information service in college and university library for students both in America and China, points out the necessity of college and university library carrying out health information service and proposes the strategies, including popularizing health knowledge, enhancing collection construction, utilizing network new technology, improving the quality of librarians, learning from other libraries actively, etc.
