The paper discusses the implementation plan of embedded case teaching method in medical literature retrieval course, and compares with ordinary lecture-based teaching mode. The result shows that the application of embedded case teaching method is helpful for cultivating students' ability of creative thinking and improving learning effect. The advantages of embedded case teaching method and requests for teachers are also discussed.
