The paper introduces the non-contact automatic identification technology——radio frequency identification (RFID） technology. By analyzing the problems of library collection management, it elaborates the application of RFID technology in library management, including cataloging system, self-borrowing system, safety checking system, etc. Finally the problems in RFID technology application and the solution are discussed.
