Based on analyzing the characteristics of information technology curriculum in medical college and university, the paper expounds the implementation process of medical information technology curriculum on the basis of action-oriented teaching, including objectives localization, teaching content determination, teaching method selection, etc. It takes information technology education towards nursing profession as the starting point, so as to provide references for other professions carrying out action-oriented teaching in the future.
