The paper analyzes the current status and existing problems of hospital informatization, introduces VMware virtualization technology as well as its characteristics. Taking the First Affiliated Hospital of Jinan University as an example, it elaborates VMware deployment method in hospital from the aspects of hardware architecture, server resource integration and so on, so as to realize high availability and reduce operation cost.
