The paper introduces the connotation of data curation, elaborates the data curation demands evaluation project in the library of California Polytechnic State University, analyzes the outcome of this project, points out the enlightenment for domestic libraries, namely, launching marketing promotion for scientific research data service and data curation training, providing high-quality data curation service through cooperation, etc.
