The paper analyzes the problems existed in subject knowledge database construction as well as the application of Wiki in library information service, taking forensic medicine knowledge database construction by combining Wiki and Blog in Xi'an Jiaotong University as an example, it introduces the construction idea and process. Through Wiki collaboration, Blog data collection and free commentary technologies, the subject knowledge database can be accessed, communicated and shared freely and the information commons are formed.
