The paper takes 25 kinds of medical informatics journals from JCR as the data samples and uses the information visualization tool Sci2 to make literature bibliographic coupling analysis, draws the knowledge map of medical informatics domain. By clustering the citing literatures, the representative authors, literatures, their research directions and focuses in different periods are analyzed, the characteristics of literature bibliographic coupling map and the development tendency of medical informatics are revealed.
