Taking PubMed and Web of Science as retrieval tools, the paper carries out bibliometric analysis on hepatitis B virus X protein(HBx) literatures from the aspects of time, journal and country distribution, generates visualized citation chronological chart and hot spots knowledge map using HistCite and CiteSpace, discusses the research hot spots and frontiers of HBx and reveals its development process.
