Using bibliometrics method, the paper retrieves from PubMed, Chinese Biology Medicine (SinoMed), and VIP to evaluate the information resources and information demands of medical staffs both at home and abroad. The results show that the most common information resources are colleagues, search engines and Internet in clinical work. The most common information needs are related to diagnosis, treatment, drug information, etc.
