The paper collects the curricula of the medical informatics and information management and information system (medical) majors from 28 universities in China and extracts 112 compulsory courses. 112 courses are classified according to the classification and coding standard for disciplines to obtain the coverage in discipline categories, core courses and core course categories. The curricula is also compared to the BMHI curriculum modules suggested by IMIA, so as to understand the coincidence degree of Chinese medical informatics education with international standards.
