The paper utilizes the information visualization and analysis software CiteSpace and the website analysis function of Web of Knowledge, draws scientific knowledge maps in the field of international medical library research to explore the current research state of medical library internationally over the past decade and to understand its core authors, distribution of national institutions and journals , its current research focus and frontier areas in the field are revealed, providing references for the actual work of the medical library.
