The revision of Chinese Library Classification (CLC)is closely related to medical development. The paper chooses three new category that are three-level and below within R1 category of the CLC (3 to 5 version), compares their changes, overviews the relationship with the development of corresponding disciplines. The results show that the development of corresponding disciplines has an effect on the revision of CLC. Meanwhile, the revision of CLC will improve the organization and dissemination of literature resource, enhance the academic research and communication, promote the development of the discipline.
