The paper analyzes the latest development of Open Access(OA) and its impact on scientific research and information environment. Taking BioMed Central (BMC) as an example, it investigates the best practice of research institute in supporting OA publishing and further proposes some experiences, problems and reflections,thinks about new service mechanism in OA publishing environment.
