Taking PubReader as an example, the paper introduces typical applications of HTML5 in displaying medical information. By cases in medical information display, it illustrates advantages of HTML5 in interface alternation, intelligent terminal support, multimedia presentation, and local storage, etc. It also predicts its future development tendency and disadvantages.
