The paper briefly introduces the development status of general hospital informatization in China, taking Sichuan Provincial People's Hospital as an example, it introduces the informatization construction mode, current situations and existing problems in Class-Ⅲ general hospitals. It points out that based on informatization construction in the early stage, Class-Ⅲ general hospitals should keep improving system functions, strengthen the force for research and development, adopt unified standards and specifications, conduct data integration and enhance the sustainable construction ability.
