According to problems in hospital libraries such as limited space, weak service consciousness of librarians and insufficient information resources, the paper proposes strategies of innovative services for hospital libraries based on the service concept of information commons, including user-centered, focusing on users' information requirements; supporting group collaborative study, expanding contents of information services; uniting relevant information departments, optimizing the knowledge structure of librarians; utilizing information technology and improving supporting facilities.
