As an emerging field, precision medicine has been highly concerned professionally and socially and become a new way to improve patients' treatment and prognosis. The paper analyzes the background and motivation of the Precision Medicine Initiative in the U.S., and explains the origin, development hot-spots and treatment effect of precision medicine, as well as the reflection on the development of precision medicine in China and its implications.
