Combining with the status of the First Affiliated Hospital of Chengdu Medical College, the paper designs a hospital ward monitoring system based on the Internet of Things, introduces the system's overall design, development of network communication, GPRS short message service, database design and operation. The use of this system strengthens the relation between patients and medical personnel and improves the hospital's service quality.
