Based on the investigation analysis of defects in the prescription management process of the Hospital Information System(HIS) in partial Class-Ⅲ and Grade A hospitals, the paper indicates problems existing in security and the management process. It suggests that medical institutions should implement safe CA authentication of electronic prescriptions, optimize the prescription management process, and separate prescription management from financial management.
