In the age of big data, the ways and means for readers in hospitals to obtain knowledge have changed greatly and their dependence on literature resources of physical libraries and librarians has been reduced dramatically. As a result, the role of hospital libraries changes and they have to strengthen their researches on medical literature resources, analyze readers' demands, adjust their orientation and convert their role based on actual hospital development. Only in this way, can they provide better information services. Also, the paper proposes specific strategies for hospital libraries to meet readers' information demands in the current stage.
