Embedded services represent the new direction of subject services in hospital libraries and have great significance in the development of hospital libraries. The paper introduces the concept and modes of embedded services and the requirements for librarians, describes the embedded service modes of hospital libraries, including embedded reference consulting, embedded clinical diagnosis and treatment of diseases, embedded clinical topic researches and embedded clinical teaching, and analyzes existing problems and countermeasures.
