Abstract:As it has been ten years since the Journal of Medical Informatics was renamed, the paper reviews the past from the perspective of authors to provide reference for the future. Based on the cleaned literature data from China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI), it makes statistics of the amount of published papers and their authors, the degree of cooperation, and geographical coverage from 2006 to 2015. Then, it makes an in-depth analysis of the high-frequency papers written by prolific authors, their geographical and institutional distribution, and the structure of new and old authors, and shows details of highly cited papers. Based on the number of published papers and the citation frequency, it evaluates core authors in the recent decade in the comprehensive index method.
