Based on the brief introduction to the current subject service in medical college and university libraries in China and the current situation of scientific research information service in hospital libraries, the paper analyzes the features of embedded subject service in medical college and university libraries, and discusses how the embedded subject service in medical college and university libraries supports scientific researchs information service in hospitals, including resources construction and promotion, embedding of subject librarians, and construction and optimization of the subject service platform.
