Taking Tongji Hospital Affiliated to Tongji University as an example, the paper introduces the design and application of the clinical data center based on Electronic Medical Records(EMR) and discusses its application effects. The establishment of the clinical data center can eliminate data isolation among hospital information systems. Thus, it provides convenience for clinical data analysis and deep mining as well as data support for improving the quality of patient treatment.
