The paper introduces the application of Wireless Local Area Networks (WLAN) in medical industry, analyzes the problems of WLAN in the process of construction, describes the design architecture and characteristics of WLAN in intranet by taking the Sun Yat-sen University Cancer Center as an example, and introduces feasible solutions by combining the requirements of this hospital for wireless connection of Internet.
