The paper summarizes the development situation of precision medicine in China, states the biological foundation and core technology of precision medicine, introduces the situations of research on sequencing technique and omics, cohort study on large populations, R&D of biological big data technology and the development of personalized treatment technology, and looks forward to the future on this basis.
