The paper introduces background of reading culture in Russia and its way of promotion, expatiates on the enlightenment of reading promotion in Russia to China, and puts forward related suggestions, including establishing specialized reading promotion agencies and system, holding large-scale reading promotion activities or producing TV programs that promote reading within families and schools.
