The paper discusses the training situation of Chinese undergraduate talents majoring in health information management from the aspects including setup of the health information management specialty in higher learning institutions in China, enrolment programs and arrangement of major courses, analyzes demands of hospital informatization on health information talents, and providing reference for the training of more qualified talents of the specialty.
