The paper introduces the study situation of biomedical named entity recognites in and outside of China, elaborating on the technical method of biomedical named entity recognition, including method based on dictionaries and rules, method based on machine learning, mixed method, neural network method and related evaluation organizations and criterion, and summarizes the difficulties and significance of Chinese biomedical named entity recognition.
